We present a version of the twin Higgs mechanism with vector-like top partners. In this setup all gauge anomalies automatically cancel, even without twin leptons. The matter content of the most minimal twin sector is therefore just two twin tops and one twin bottom. The LHC phenomenology, illustrated with two example models, is dominated by twin glueball decays, possibly in association with Higgs bosons. We further construct an explicit four-dimensional UV completion and discuss a variety of UV completions relevant for both vector-like and fraternal twin Higgs models.

  1. Searching for Quirks at LHCb

    hep-ph 2026-01 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

A proposed LHCb VELO search for back-to-back, planar hit patterns could make LHCb the first experiment sensitive to quirks with hidden confinement scale around 1000 eV.

  2. Freeze-Twin Dark Matter

    hep-ph 2019-08 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Twin electrons and positrons, frozen in via a massive twin photon, can be the dark matter in mirror twin Higgs models with asymmetric reheating, with the required kinetic mixing matching loop-level expectations.

  3. Alleviating Cosmological Tensions with the Hadrosymmetric Twin Higgs

    astro-ph.CO 2025-10 reject novelty 4.0 of 10

The HTH cosmology fit yields a negligible twin-pion decay rate and density, so the reported H0-tension relief is an artifact of widened parameter errors rather than a new physical mechanism.
