High-energy diboson processes at the LHC are potentially powerful indirect probes of heavy new physics, whose effects can be encapsulated in higher-dimensional operators or in modified Standard Model couplings. An obstruction however comes from the fact that leading new physics effects often emerge in diboson helicity amplitudes that are anomalously small in the Standard Model. As such, the formally leading Standard Model/New Physics interference contribution cancels in inclusive measurements. This paper describes a solution to this problem.

  1. Energy Correlators of Spinning Sources

    hep-ph 2025-12 conditional novelty 7.0 of 10

Spinning energy correlators classify the full Euler-angle dependence of N-point energy flux, obey generalized Hofman–Maldacena positivity bounds, and their ratios to inclusive correlators in QCD are largely insensitiv...

  2. Benchmarking simplified template cross sections in $WH$ production

    hep-ph 2019-08 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

For W H production, the proposed simplified template cross sections with six pT,W bins and three mT,tot bins recover more new-physics information than the current stage 1.1 binning, but still less than a full multivar...

  3. Improved BSM Sensitivity in Diboson Processes

    hep-ph 2019-09 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

Polarization-resolved W+W- and Zh analyses at a 3 TeV e+e- collider can constrain the dimension-6 operators O3W and OW to roughly c3W ~ 1e-2 and cW ~ 3e-3, about an order of magnitude better than HL-LHC or ILC projections.
