Using the AdS/CFT correspondence, we identify the symmetry algebra of the Laplacian on Euclidean space as an explicit quotient of the universal enveloping algebra of the Lie algebra of conformal motions. We construct analogues of these symmetries on a general conformal manifold.

Reviewed papers in the Pith corpus that reference this work. Sorted by Pith novelty score. Full citation record

  1. dS$^4$ Metamorphosis

    hep-th 2026-02 conditional novelty 7.0 of 10

Higher spin gravity path integral on S^4 glues to an Sp(N) or superconformal S^3 boundary theory, giving leading contribution 2^N with one-loop cancellations.

  2. Self-dual gravity from higher-spin theory

    hep-th 2026-03 unverdicted novelty 6.0 of 10

Self-dual gravity with cosmological constant emerges uniquely as the rigid lower-spin sector of four-dimensional higher-spin interactions when only self-dual vertices are kept.

  3. Scalar Field on a higher-spin Background via Fedosov quantization

    hep-th 2024-12 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

A Fedosov-quantized Wigner function and the Feigin-Felder-Shoikhet trace yield a manifestly covariant action for scalar matter coupled to conformal higher-spin backgrounds.

  4. Brane Symmetries Revisited: Symmetries of Tensile and Tensionless Branes in Possibly Degenerate Metrics and their Manifestations

    hep-th 2025-12 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

Tensionless p-branes and branes in degenerate-metric spacetimes admit symmetry transformations built from Killing tensors of arbitrary rank, extending string W-symmetries to all brane dimensions.
