I want to call attention to a simple previously noted fact about the double-scaled version of the SYK model which suggests that it may be holographically dual to de Sitter space.

Reviewed papers in the Pith corpus that reference this work. Sorted by Pith novelty score. Full citation record

  1. Cosmological pole-skipping, shock waves and quantum chaotic dynamics of de Sitter horizons

    hep-th 2025-08 conditional novelty 7.0 of 10

Pole-skipping in Schwarzschild-de Sitter predicts superluminal and imaginary butterfly velocities, confirmed by shock wave analysis, hinting at nonlocal and non-Hermitian dual dynamics.

  2. De Sitter Complexity Grows Linearly in the Static Patch

    hep-th 2025-08 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Timelike extremal volume in the de Sitter static patch gives a holographic complexity that grows linearly with time and is proportional to horizon entropy times temperature.

  3. Double-Scaled SYK, QCD, and the Flat Space Limit of de Sitter Space

    hep-th 2025-01 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Double-scaled SYK perturbation theory has a fixed lambda (flat-space) limit whose genus expansion mirrors the fixed gauge coupling limit of large N QCD.

  4. New Modes for Vector Bosons in the Static Patch

    hep-th 2024-12 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

A massive vector boson in a de Sitter static patch has a stability edge at μ_v^2 = m_v^2 + 2(D-1)ℓ^{-2}, permitting naively tachyonic Lagrangian masses down to m_v^2ℓ^2 = -2(D-1).

  5. Sine-dilaton gravity vs double-scaled SYK: exploring one-loop quantum corrections

    hep-th 2024-11 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

The one-loop gravitational path integral of sine-dilaton gravity reproduces the one-loop corrections of double-scaled SYK for the free energy (up to an ordering ambiguity) and exactly for the matter two-point function.

  6. Non-perturbative corrections in the semi-classical limit of double-scaled SYK

    hep-th 2025-01 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

Non-perturbative corrections in the small-coupling limit of the double-scaled SYK partition function are resummed into a cubic power of the Dedekind eta function, in both the low-energy and low-temperature limits.

  7. A Dynamical Systems Framework for Reinforcement Learning Safety and Robustness Verification

    cs.AI 2025-08 unverdicted novelty 4.0 of 10

The claimed RL safety verification framework is absent from the manuscript; the body text is an unrelated high-energy physics paper about de Sitter horizon chaos.
