class_sz is a versatile and robust code in C and Python that can compute theoretical predictions for a wide range of observables relevant to cross-survey science in the Stage IV era. The code is public at https://github.com/CLASS-SZ/class_sz along with a series of tutorial notebooks (https://github.com/CLASS-SZ/notebooks). It will be presented in full detail in paper II. Here we give a brief overview of key features and usage.

    astro-ph.CO 2026-04 unverdicted novelty 8.0

High-significance kSZ detections for BGS and ELG tracers reveal low gas fractions near virial radii in BGS halos likely due to AGN feedback and higher gas fractions in ELG halos suggesting weaker feedback.

  2. Precision Kinematic Sunyaev--Zel'dovich Measurements Across Halo Mass and Redshift with DESI DR2 and ACT DR6: Part I. Luminous Red Galaxies

    astro-ph.CO 2026-04 unverdicted novelty 6.0

High-significance kSZ measurements around LRGs show gas is redistributed beyond gravitational collapse and imply more efficient feedback in group-scale halos than in standard hydrodynamical models.

  3. DEMNUni: the Sunyaev-Zel'dovich effect in the presence of massive neutrinos and dynamical dark energy

    astro-ph.CO 2025-03 unverdicted novelty 5.0

N-body simulations show the log Compton-y distribution mean decreases linearly with neutrino fraction (slope ~10 f_ν) and tSZ power spectrum scales as power law in σ8^cb (exponents 7.3-8.1), with ∑m_ν=0.16 or 0.32 eV ...

  4. Comparison of Halo Model and Simulation Predictions for Projected-Field Kinematic Sunyaev-Zel'dovich Cross-Correlations

    astro-ph.CO 2025-09 unverdicted novelty 4.0

Halo model predictions match Websky simulations well for Planck filters but differ by ~20% for Simons Observatory filters, exceeding error bars and consistent with missing higher-order terms in the kSZ signal.
