We argue that in QCD near the chiral limit, at all temperatures below the chiral phase transition, the dispersion relation of soft pions can be expressed entirely in terms of three temperature-dependent quantities: the pion screening mass, a pion decay constant, and the axial isospin susceptibility. The definitions of these quantities are given in terms of equal-time (static) correlation functions. Thus, all three quantities can be determined directly by lattice methods. The precise meaning of the Gell-Mann--Oakes--Renner relation at finite temperature is given.

Tricritical dynamics in $\mathrm{^3He}$-$\mathrm{^4He}$ mixtures and QCD
Near tricritical points with an extra conserved energy-like density, order parameter and conserved O(N) charges exhibit strong scaling z=3/2, while the energy-like density is subdiffusive with z=3.

Flavour current correlators and the non-Abelian hydrodynamic approximation: the charged sector
Isospin-imbalanced strongly coupled dense matter is shown, via holography, to obey non-Abelian hydrodynamic predictions for current correlators up to the chemical-potential scale, beyond the standard ω,k ≪ T regime.

Schwinger-Keldysh effective action for hydrodynamics with approximate symmetries
The axial charge relaxation coefficient in the Schwinger-Keldysh effective theory of QCD must be of second order in the quark mass, Γ_A = γ_A m_q^2, subleading in the broken phase and leading in the restored phase.

Chiral phase transition: effective field theory and holography
A Schwinger-Keldysh effective field theory for the chiral phase transition, with chiral charges and condensate as dynamical variables, is constructed and its coefficients are computed in a modified AdS/QCD model, with...
