We introduce a uniform light-cone gauge for strings propagating in AdS space-time. We use the gauge to analyze strings from the su(1|1) sector, and show that the reduced model is described by a quadratic action for two complex fermions. Thus, the uniform light-cone gauge allows us to solve the model exactly. We analyze the near BMN spectrum of states from the su(1|1) sector and show that it correctly reproduces the 1/J corrections. We also compute the spectrum in the strong coupling limit, and derive the famous \lambda^{1/4} asymptotics. We then show that the same string spectrum can be also derived by solving Bethe ansatz type equations, and discuss their relation to the quantum string Bethe ansatz for the su(1|1) sector.

  1. Tree-level S matrix for $\lambda$-deformed AdS3 strings

    hep-th 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 7.0 of 10

For the λ-deformed AdS3×S3×T4 superstring, the tree-level bosonic worldsheet S matrix is purely elastic for 0≤λ<1, confirming integrability, and ill-defined at λ→1, so that limit does not capture T-dual worldsheet dynamics.

  2. On the $AdS_3\times S^3\times S^3\times S^1$ dressing factors

    hep-th 2025-12 unverdicted novelty 7.0 of 10

Dressing factors are proposed for the S-matrix of massive worldsheet excitations in AdS3×S3×S3×S1 with mixed RR/NSNS flux that satisfy crossing, unitarity, and reproduce perturbative results for any radius ratio.

  3. Particle production in a light-cone gauge fixed Jordanian deformation of $AdS_5\times S^5$

    hep-th 2024-12 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

In the light-cone gauge-fixed Jordanian deformation of AdS5×S5, on-shell cubic vertices produce nonzero 1-to-2 and 2-to-1 scattering processes, indicating particle production.

  4. $T\bar{T}$ deformations as TsT transformations

    hep-th 2019-08 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

T\bar{T} deformations of string worldsheet theories are equivalent to TsT transformations in the T-dual static-gauge frame, with the T\bar{T} CDD factor realized as a Drinfel'd-Reshetikhin twist of the S-matrix.
