We calculate the charm-quark contribution to the decay K_L -> mu^+ mu^- in next-to-next-to-leading order of QCD. This new contribution reduces the theoretical uncertainty in the relevant parameter P_c from +/-22% down to +/-7%, corresponding to scale uncertainties of +/-3% and +/-6% in the short-distance part of the branching ratio and the determination of the Wolfenstein parameter rhobar from K_L -> mu^+ mu^-. The error in P_c = 0.115 +/- 0.018 is now in equal shares due to the combined scale uncertainties and the current uncertainty in the charm-quark mass. We find BR (K_L -> mu^+ mu^-)_SD = (0.79 +/- 0.12) x 10^-9, with the present uncertainty in the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element V_td being the dominant individual source in the quoted error.

Renormalizing a three-flavor lattice calculation of the two-photon contribution to $K_L\to\mu^+\mu^-$
A three-flavor lattice QCD calculation of the two-photon contribution to K_L→μ^+μ^- can be renormalized by explicit counter terms, fixed by matching to a small-volume four-flavor simulation.

Prospects for $K_{L}\to\pi^{0}\nu\bar{\nu}$, $K_S\to\mu^+\mu^-$, $K_L\to\pi^0 \ell^+\ell^-$ and $\varepsilon^{\prime}/\varepsilon$ after the new $K^{+}\to\pi^{+}\nu\bar{\nu}$ result from NA62
A Z' model with both left- and right-handed sbar-d couplings can enhance K_L→π0ννbar by an order of magnitude while keeping K+→π+ννbar and ε_K SM-like.

Flavor Constraints in a Generational Three Higgs Doublet Model
A generational three-Higgs-doublet model is constructed, and flavor constraints show that its additional Higgs bosons can be as light as about 1.5 TeV if the only flavor violation is the minimal amount needed to repro...
