We investigate the impact of TeV-scale matter belonging to complete vectorlike multiplets of unified groups on the lightest Higgs boson in the MSSM. We find that consistent with perturbative unification and electroweak precision data the mass m_h can be as large as 160 GeV. These extended MSSM models can also render the little hierarchy problem less severe, but only for lower values of m_h < 125 GeV. We present estimates for the sparticle mass spectrum in these models.

  1. The curtain lowers on directly detectable higgsino dark matter

    hep-ph 2024-12 accept novelty 5.0 of 10

Using LZ2024 limits, the paper derives new lower bounds on gaugino masses and upper bounds on higgsino mass splittings in decoupled-MSSM higgsino dark matter scenarios, plus projections for the neutrino fog.

  2. Single production of singlet vector-like leptons at the ILC

    hep-ph 2024-12 conditional novelty 4.0 of 10

Projected 5-sigma discovery regions for singlet vector-like leptons at the 1 TeV ILC are derived, covering masses 300-700 GeV and coupling kappa down to about 0.026.
