In this paper we investigate the gravitational-wave generation problem at the first post-Newtonian order in the context of Einstein-Cartan theory by exploiting the Blanchet-Damour formalism. The quantum intrinsic spin carried by slowly moving, weakly stressed, weakly self-gravitating sources is described geometrically by means of the torsion tensor. We obtain the expression of the source multipole moments with the required accuracy. The analysis of the physical meaning of the lowest-order non-radiative moments and of the asymptotic gravitational waveform is also performed. Eventually, we draw our conclusions and estimate the order of magnitude of the spin contributions in the gravitational-wave signal.

Eccentricity-Modulated Phase Degeneracy and Distinguishability between Dark Matter and Accretion Disk Environmental Effects in EMRIs
DM dephasing in EMRIs is nearly eccentricity-independent while disk dephasing is strongly suppressed by e0, so residual SNR and distinguishability time favor slightly eccentric orbits for LISA separation of the two effects.

Complex degenerate metrics in general relativity: a covariant extension of the Moore-Penrose algorithm
A covariant Moore-Penrose algorithm for complex degenerate metrics is formulated, but its uniqueness and torsion interpretation depend on an arbitrary auxiliary metric and the central proof is incomplete.

Observational Constraints on Kazakov-Solodukhin Quantum-Deformed Black Holes from M87$^*$ and Sgr A$^*$ Shadows
EHT shadow sizes of M87* and Sgr A* constrain the Kazakov-Solodukhin deformation parameter η to O(1) ranges while the metric remains asymptotically Schwarzschild.

Signatures of modified gravity from the gravitational Aharonov-Bohm effect
For a Kaluza-Klein modified gravitational potential, the gravitational Aharonov-Bohm phase produces energy-level shifts that are dominated by an assumed constant correction to Newton's constant, while the claimed new ...
