We consider the covariant graviton propagator in de Sitter spacetime in a gauge with two parameters, alpha and beta, in the Euclidean approach. We give an explicit form of the propagator with a particular choice of beta but with arbitrary value of alpha. We confirm that two-point functions of local gauge-invariant quantities do not increase as the separation of the two points becomes large.

  1. Out-of-time-ordered Correlators in de Sitter Revisited

    hep-th 2026-07 conditional novelty 7.0 of 10

The de Sitter OTOC grows at the maximal Lyapunov rate 2π/β at tree level and at twice that rate in a massive-graviton-regulated double-scaling limit, with the growth traced to large diffeomorphisms in the graviton propagator.

    hep-th 2025-12 conditional novelty 7.0 of 10

    A special gauge choice (β=1, α=4(d+2)/d) yields a simple graviton propagator in (A)dS satisfying ∇^μ μ ∇^ν μ G_{μν,α'β'} = 0.

Scalar and vector Feynman integrals on the sphere are mapped to A-hypergeometric (GKZ) systems via embedding space propagators, enabling algorithmic higher-loop computations.

    gr-qc 2025-01 conditional novelty 3.0 of 10

Secular logarithms from inflationary graviton loops can be resummed by combining a modified stochastic formalism with a modified renormalization group, though the pure-gravity sector remains incomplete.
