The reconstruction of the Higgs potential in the Standard Model or supersymmetric theories demands the measurement of the trilinear Higgs couplings. These couplings affect the multiple production of Higgs bosons at high energy colliders. We present a systematic overview of the cross sections for the production of pairs of (light) neutral Higgs bosons at the LHC. The analysis is carried out for the Standard Model and its minimal supersymmetric extension.

    hep-ph 2026-07 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

First NNLO QCD cross sections for pp→Vhh in SMEFT and HEFT, provided as interpolated coefficients; W±hh K-factors are almost EFT-independent while Zhh is sensitive to gluon-initiated contributions.

  2. Measuring the trilinear Higgs self-coupling in Higgs boson pair production at multi-TeV muon colliders

    hep-ph 2026-08 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

In simulated muon-collider data, combining resolved and boosted Higgs pair events with machine learning yields a 68% confidence interval on the Higgs self-coupling modifier of 0.96 to 1.05 at 10 TeV.

  3. Higgs pair production in gluon fusion to higher orders in Higgs Effective Field Theory

    hep-ph 2025-11 unverdicted novelty 5.0 of 10

Consistent NLO power counting in HEFT for di-Higgs gluon fusion requires higher-dimensional operators beyond leading order, affecting kinematic benchmarks used in experiments.

  4. Loop-corrected Trilinear Higgs Self-Couplings in the NMSSM with Inverse Seesaw Mechanism

    hep-ph 2025-06 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

Loop corrections from inverse-seesaw neutrinos and sneutrinos can change the SM-like Higgs self-coupling by up to 10.5% and the SM-like Higgs mass by up to 4.5% in the NMSSM with inverse seesaw.

  5. Sensitivity to Triple Higgs Couplings via Di-Higgs Production in the RxSM at the (HL-)LHC and future $e^+e^-$ Colliders

    hep-ph 2025-02 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

In the real singlet extension of the Standard Model, the di-Higgs mass spectrum at the HL-LHC and at ILC1000 carries a measurable imprint of the triple Higgs coupling λhhH, and the pure-resonant approximation used by ...
