Claims

C1strongest claim

We formulate PanScales final-state showers that account for quark masses and achieve next-to-leading logarithmic accuracy, while preserving the original accuracy of the showers for observables where the mass of the quarks is irrelevant.

C2weakest assumption

The modifications for quark masses can be implemented without spoiling the logarithmic accuracy for massless observables, and the fixed-order tests plus all-order comparisons are sufficient to establish NLL accuracy for the targeted observables.

C3one line summary

PanScales final-state showers now include quark masses at NLL accuracy while keeping original accuracy for massless observables.
