Particles may be accelerated in magnetized coronae via magnetic reconnections and/or plasma turbulence, leading to high-energy neutrinos and soft gamma rays. We evaluate the detectability of neutrinos from nearby bright Seyfert galaxies identified by X-ray measurements. In the disk-corona model, we find that NGC 1068 is the most promising Seyfert galaxy in the Northern sky, where IceCube is the most sensitive, and show prospects for the identification of aggregated neutrino signals from Seyfert galaxies bright in X-rays. Moreover, we demonstrate that nearby Seyfert galaxies are promising targets for the next generation of neutrino telescopes such as KM3NeT and IceCube-Gen2. For KM3NeT, Cen A can be the most promising source in the Southern sky if a significant fraction of the observed X-rays come from the corona, and it could be identified in few years of KM3NeT operation. Our results reinforce the idea that hidden cores of supermassive black holes are the dominant sources of the high-energy neutrino emission and underlines the necessity of better sensitivity to medium-energy ranges in future neutrino detectors for identifying the origin of high-energy cosmic neutrinos.

  1. Flavorful Interactions of AGN Neutrinos with Dark Matter Spike

    hep-ph 2026-07 conditional novelty 6.5

IceCube-Gen2 flavor ratios can discriminate a U(1) neutrino–dark-matter model in AGN spikes from the standard (1/3:1/3:1/3) and muon-damped predictions, and, combined with mass-ordering and tau-decay data, constrain t...

  2. Revisiting bounds on neutrino dark matter interaction at spikes

    hep-ph 2026-07 conditional novelty 6.0

For light vector mediators, neutrino energy loss in dark-matter spikes is negligible, so cascade attenuation is suppressed by a small factor f and prior cross-section bounds are relaxed by 1/f.

  3. Neutrinos from super-Eddington Seyfert galaxies

    astro-ph.HE 2026-07 conditional novelty 5.0

Super-Eddington AGN funnels accelerate hadrons by reconnection; pγ on disk photons yields 10–100 TeV neutrinos while winds absorb the gamma-ray counterpart, with NGC 7469 as a worked example.

  4. 3C403: a candidate neutrino-emitting radio galaxy

    astro-ph.HE 2025-06 unverdicted novelty 4.0

3C403 is identified as a strong neutrino-emitting candidate radio galaxy from ANTARES data, with multiwavelength analysis of its stable jet and absorbed accretion suggesting possible production mechanisms.
