We propose that in quantum gravity one needs to impose a final state boundary condition at black hole singularities. This resolves the apparent contradiction between string theory and semiclassical arguments over whether black hole evaporation is unitary.

The Page curve of Hawking radiation from semiclassical geometry
Hawking radiation entropy follows the Page curve when quantum extremal surfaces are identified with RT/HRT surfaces in a higher-dimensional holographic dual, making the black hole interior part of the radiation's enta...

Macroscopic Black-Hole Remnants in a Nonlocal Field Theory: Towards Hawking Radiation in SFT
In a smeared massless scalar on dynamical black hole, outgoing particle number drops to zero after scrambling time due to SFT nonlocality, implying macroscopic remnant.

Baby Universes from Thermal Pure States in SYK
A JT-gravity baby universe is constructed with a microscopic dual given by a low-temperature thermal pure state of two coupled SYK models, and its bulk entanglement to the AdS region is O(N) below the phase transition.

Projections and teleportation of operator quenches in CFT
In a 2D CFT, projecting an operator quench onto a Cardy state produces Renyi entropies with a surprising even/odd n dependence, indicating imperfect teleportation and obstructing the n to 1 von Neumann limit.

Taming Entanglement
EPR and Bell correlations are presented as selection artifacts: preparing the initial quantum state preselects a subensemble of a larger uncorrelated ensemble of possible histories, and the low-entropy past supplies t...

The Baby Universe is Fine and the CFT Knows It: On Holography for Closed Universes
A closed universe in AdS/CFT is not ruled out by recent SWAP-test arguments; the one-dimensional Hilbert space seen from the CFT is external indistinguishability, and CFT data can reconstruct the closed universe's geometry.

UV Effects and Short-Lived Hawking Radiation: Alternative Resolution of Information Paradox
Hawking radiation terminates around the scrambling time due to trans-Planckian stringy effects in GUP and string-field-theory-inspired toy models, yielding negligible evaporation and a mostly classical black hole.
