abstract
A method for simulating chiral gauge theories on the lattice is proposed, involving zeromodes on a topological defect. Lattice doublers may be decoupled in a gauge invariant manner, and flavor anomalies can be directly observed on a finite lattice. (Requires harvmac)

A kink in a one-link mass term for 3+1D staggered fermions creates a 2+1D domain wall with two-flavor massless Dirac fermions protected by SU(2) and parity, realizing the parity anomaly from the UV lattice Hamiltonian.
Implements gradient flow and EOM flow for gauge fields in n=1 domain wall fermion slab geometry on the lattice, demonstrating current conservation and anomaly inflow with background fields.
Continuum extrapolation of lattice QCD data shows that SU(2)_L × SU(2)_R chiral and U(1)_A axial symmetry breaking strengths in nonsinglet quark-connected channels converge to the same value near the chiral crossover temperature.
Minimal-doubling lattice fermion Hamiltonians yield single-Weyl phases when supplemented by a species-splitting mass term, but one-parameter symmetry-preserving deformations introduce additional Weyl nodes above a critical value.
Proposes equation-of-motion flow on square lattice for extending boundary gauge fields into disk interior in 2n-dimensional chiral gauge theories and demonstrates anomaly inflow and cancellation on the lattice.
New four-flavor smeared Möbius Domain Wall Fermion ensembles yield F_K/F_pi = 1.1962(34) as a precision test for inexpensive chiral fermion calculations in lattice QCD.
Domain wall fermions recover exact chiral symmetry in the infinite fifth dimension limit and produce an effective four-dimensional operator satisfying the Ginsparg-Wilson relation.
This review summarizes transformative examples of generalized symmetries in QFT and their applications to anomalies and dynamics.
