A muon collider would enable the big jump ahead in energy reach that is needed for a fruitful exploration of fundamental interactions. The challenges of producing muon collisions at high luminosity and 10 TeV centre of mass energy are being investigated by the recently-formed International Muon Collider Collaboration. This Review summarises the status and the recent advances on muon colliders design, physics and detector studies. The aim is to provide a global perspective of the field and to outline directions for future work.

  1. Muon Bremsstrahlung as a New Probe of Dark Sector at Neutrino Experiments

    hep-ph 2026-07 conditional novelty 7.0 of 10

Muon bremsstrahlung from the focused muon beam at neutrino facilities can produce heavy neutral leptons up to ~1 GeV, opening new search territory for SBND and DUNE Near Detector.

  2. A Baryon and Lepton Number Violation Model Testable at the LHC

    hep-ph 2025-08 conditional novelty 7.0 of 10

A TeV-scale baryon number violation model with three new scalars evades proton decay limits and predicts a same-sign dimuon plus anti-top signature at the LHC.

  3. The Dark Side of a Tera-Z Factory

    hep-ph 2025-07 conditional novelty 7.0 of 10

Future Tera-Z runs at FCC-ee/CEPC could indirectly probe TeV-scale t-channel dark matter portals through one-loop and two-loop electroweak precision shifts, and in leptophilic models would be the only planned experime...

  4. Partial Compositeness: from Anarchy to Symmetry

    hep-ph 2025-07 conditional novelty 7.0 of 10

A two-stage renormalization group flow, anarchic at high energies and flavor-symmetric at low energies, dynamically realizes Minimal Flavor Violation in composite Higgs models at a 5-10 TeV scale.

  5. The Scaffold Effect: How Prompt Framing Drives Apparent Multimodal Gains in Clinical VLM Evaluation

    cs.AI 2026-03 unverdicted novelty 6.0 of 10

Merely mentioning MRI availability in the prompt drives 70-80% of apparent multimodal F1 gains in clinical VLMs, even when no imaging is present.

  6. Discovery prospects of a singly-charged scalar at $\mu$TRISTAN

    hep-ph 2026-01 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

A same-sign muon collider could discover the singly-charged scalar of Type-II seesaw through a lepton-flavor-violating process, and the final lepton flavor could distinguish normal from inverted neutrino mass ordering...

  7. Precision phenomenology at multi-TeV muon colliders

    hep-ph 2025-06 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Combining QED-resummed lepton PDFs, NLO electroweak corrections, and selected NNLO vector-boson-fusion terms gives percent-level predictions for ttbar and WW production at multi-TeV muon colliders, with caveats in the...

  8. Discovering the Higgsino at CTAO-North within the Decade

    hep-ph 2025-06 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

CTAO-North, using high-zenith-angle observations, could discover 1.1 TeV thermal higgsino dark matter by 2030 for several plausible Galactic Center density profiles, earlier than CTAO-South.

  9. Weak bosons as partons below 10 TeV partonic center-of-momentum

    hep-ph 2025-02 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

New next-to-leading-power effective W approximation PDFs for W/Z bosons, plus kinematic consistency conditions that make the parton approximation reliable for scattering energies around 800 GeV and above.

  10. Measuring the trilinear Higgs self-coupling in Higgs boson pair production at multi-TeV muon colliders

    hep-ph 2026-08 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

    hep-ph 2026-07 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

Quantum spin observables of t-bar-t pairs at future lepton colliders can distinguish chiral U(1)_X Z′ charge assignments, and polarized e−e+ beams isolate left- vs right-handed lepton couplings.
