In this work we present PRyMordial: A package dedicated to efficient computations of observables in the Early Universe with the focus on the cosmological era of Big Bang Nucleosynthesis (BBN). The code offers fast and precise evaluation of BBN light-element abundances together with the effective number of relativistic degrees of freedom, including non-instantaneous decoupling effects. PRyMordial is suitable for state-of-the-art analyses in the Standard Model as well as for general investigations into New Physics active during BBN. After reviewing the physics implemented in PRyMordial, we provide a short guide on how to use the code for applications in the Standard Model and beyond. The package is written in Python, but more advanced users can optionally take advantage of the open-source community for Julia. PRyMordial is publicly available on GitHub.

  1. Deuterium-Proton Fusion in an Effective Field Theory Constructed from On-Shell Amplitudes

    nucl-th 2026-07 conditional novelty 7.0 of 10

    A nuclear-state on-shell EFT yields S(0)=0.209±0.008 eV b for d(p,γ)3He and traces the ab initio-data offset to a natural t_E1≈−0.15 contact term.

  2. DESI DR2 Results II: Measurements of Baryon Acoustic Oscillations and Cosmological Constraints

    astro-ph.CO 2025-03 accept novelty 7.0 of 10

DESI DR2 BAO data exhibits 2.3 sigma tension with CMB in Lambda-CDM but prefers evolving dark energy (w0 > -1, wa < 0) at 3.1 sigma with CMB and 2.8-4.2 sigma when including supernovae.

  3. DESI 2024 VI: Cosmological Constraints from the Measurements of Baryon Acoustic Oscillations

    astro-ph.CO 2024-04 accept novelty 7.0 of 10

First-year DESI BAO data are consistent with flat LambdaCDM and, when combined with CMB, show a 2.5-3.9 sigma preference for evolving dark energy (w0 > -1, wa < 0) that strengthens with certain supernova datasets.

  4. Revisiting Metastable Dark Energy in Light of DESI DR2 BAO and DESI DR1 Full-Shape Measurements

    astro-ph.CO 2026-08 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Metastable dark energy, where the vacuum energy decays at a constant rate, fits the data but is not required: some combinations show 2-3 sigma hints of decay, none decisively beats the cosmological constant.

  5. Baryoid Dark Matter from $\mathbb{Z}_N$ Domain Walls: The $(N-1):1$ origin of the dark matter-baryon coincidence

    hep-ph 2026-05 unverdicted novelty 6.0 of 10

Collapsing Z_N domain walls trap baryons into dense baryoids, yielding a dark matter-baryon energy density ratio of approximately (N-1):1 after the QCD phase transition.

  6. A data-driven prediction for the primordial deuterium abundance

    astro-ph.CO 2026-04 unverdicted novelty 6.0 of 10

Gaussian process regression on nuclear data predicts 10^5 D/H = 2.442 ± 0.040, 1.70 sigma below observation and consistent with first-principles calculations.

  7. DESI 2024 VII: Cosmological Constraints from the Full-Shape Modeling of Clustering Measurements

    astro-ph.CO 2024-11 accept novelty 6.0 of 10

    DESI DR1 full-shape clustering yields Ω_m = 0.2962 ± 0.0095 and σ_8 = 0.842 ± 0.034 in flat ΛCDM, tightening to H_0 = 68.40 ± 0.27 km/s/Mpc with CMB and DESY3, while favoring w_0 > -1, w_a < 0 and limiting neutrino ma...

  8. What could an emerging Big Bang Nucleosynthesis discrepancy be hinting at?

    astro-ph.CO 2026-07 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

A transient expansion-rate boost during deuterium burning can reconcile the measured deuterium abundance with the high baryon density preferred by early dark energy models, without changing helium-4.

  9. Reconstructing dark energy with fewer assumptions

    astro-ph.CO 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 5.0 of 10

Bin-wise uncorrelated reconstruction from DESI/SDSS BAO and Pantheon+/Union3.1/DES-Dovekie supernovae yields dark energy density peaking then declining and equation of state oscillating with phantom crossing near z~0....

  10. Bipartite Solution to the Lithium Problem

    hep-ph 2026-04 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

A sequential majoron-to-neutrinos decay followed by axion-like particle-to-photons decay can lower primordial lithium without exceeding deuterium limits.

  11. Early-universe constraints on the electron mass

    hep-ph 2026-02 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

Big Bang Nucleosynthesis and neutrino-decoupling data pin the early-universe electron mass to 0.504-0.510 MeV, within about 1.4% of the present laboratory value.

  12. Neutrino-Induced Polarization Rotation in Active Galactic Nuclei Plasmas

    hep-ph 2026-01 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

Neutrino-induced polarization rotation in AGN plasmas is computed and found to produce a frequency scaling distinct from Faraday rotation, but with angles far below current polarimetric sensitivity.

  13. Temperature-Dependent CPT Violation: Constraints from Big Bang Nucleosynthesis

    hep-ph 2026-01 unverdicted novelty 5.0 of 10

    Constraints on temperature-dependent CPT-violating electron-positron mass asymmetry b0(T) = α T² from BBN abundances of 4He, D, and Neff give α ≳ 10^{-6} GeV^{-1} for keV-scale effects at BBN.

  14. Hubble tension: a short review of theoretical explanations

    astro-ph.CO 2026-07 accept novelty 4.0 of 10

A comprehensive review finds no theoretical Hubble-tension solution yet passes all consistency tests; new early-dark-energy chains reach high H0 only when the SH0ES calibration is added.

  15. Probing Unification Scenarios with Big Bang Nucleosynthesis

    hep-ph 2026-04 unverdicted novelty 4.0 of 10

Extending a BBN code yields constraints Δα/α = 2 ± 51 ppm (mass variation) and 2 ± 22 ppm (G variation) at 68% CL, showing these models do not solve the lithium problem.
