We present a full result for the 2+1 flavor QCD equation of state. All the systematics are controlled, the quark masses are set to their physical values, and the continuum extrapolation is carried out. This extends our previous studies [JHEP 0601:089 (2006); 1011:077 (2010)] to even finer lattices and now includes ensembles with Nt = 6,8,10,12 up to Nt = 16. We use a Symanzik improved gauge and a stout-link improved staggered fermion action. Our findings confirm our earlier results. In order to facilitate the direct use of our equation of state we make our tabulated results available for download.

  1. Asteroid-mass Primordial Black Holes as Dark Matter from Supersymmetry

    hep-ph 2026-04 unverdicted novelty 6.0

Supersymmetry with heavy particles above ~10^5 GeV enhances asteroid-mass PBH production via transient equation-of-state softening, allowing them to comprise all dark matter unlike in the Standard Model.

  2. Four-dimensional QCD equation of state from a quasi-parton model with physics-informed neural networks

    nucl-th 2026-04 unverdicted novelty 6.0

A PINN-trained quasi-parton model reproduces lattice cumulants at vanishing chemical potentials and supplies a consistent four-dimensional QCD equation of state at finite densities.

  3. Bayesian inference constraints on jet quenching across centrality, beam energy, and observable classes in LHC heavy-ion collisions

    hep-ph 2026-04 unverdicted novelty 5.0

Bayesian posteriors from JETSCAPE jet-quenching model are largely compatible across centrality but exhibit shifts across beam energy and observable class, with varying ability to predict complementary datasets.

  4. Two Lectures on the Phase Diagram of QCD

    hep-ph 2026-04 unverdicted novelty 4.0

QCD features at least three phases at zero baryon density and three at high density, including a Quarkyonic phase at high density and low temperature, described via large-N_c and a parameter-free 3D string model.

  5. Three regimes/phases of QCD at high T, their symmetries and N_c scaling

    hep-ph 2026-04 unverdicted novelty 2.0

QCD at high T has three phases differing in symmetries, degrees of freedom and N_c scaling: hadron gas below T_ch, stringy fluid between T_ch and T_d, and quark-gluon plasma above T_d.
