The concept of effective dynamics has proven successful in LQC, a loop-inspired quantization of cosmological spacetimes. We apply the same idea of its derivation in LQC to the full theory, by computing the expectation value of the scalar constraint with respect to some coherent states peaked on the phase-space variables of flat Robertson-Walker spacetime. We comment on the relation with effective LQC and find a deviation stemming from the Lorentzian part of the Hamiltonian.

  1. On the dynamics of single-vertex states in quantum-reduced loop gravity

    gr-qc 2024-12 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

The Hamiltonian of single-vertex states in quantum-reduced loop gravity formally matches Bianchi I loop quantum cosmology, and an analogy suggests adding a non-trivial Lorentzian curvature term to the cosmology Hamiltonian.

  2. Implementing Hamiltonian Renormalization Group Flow on Quantum Computers with VAPOR

    hep-lat 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 5.0 of 10

VAPOR is a variational quantum algorithm that finds RG fixed points for naively discretized operators in a symmetry-restricted SU(2) Yang-Mills toy model by decomposing into Pauli strings.

  3. Effective dynamics of a homogeneous and isotropic universe with quantum curvature

    gr-qc 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 5.0 of 10

A new LQC model with an added curvature term produces a quantum bounce that resolves the singularity at lower volume than standard LQC while preserving symmetric effective dynamics.

  4. Quantum Damping of Cosmological Shear: A New Prediction from Loop Quantum Cosmologies

    gr-qc 2025-10 reject novelty 5.0 of 10

In mLQC-I, Bianchi I shear is claimed to decay exponentially after the bounce, producing isotropization independent of the matter content.

  5. Effects of the ekpyrotic mechanism on inflationary phase in loop quantum cosmologies

    gr-qc 2025-10 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

In LQC and mLQC-I, tuned ekpyrotic-plus-inflation potentials can yield w>1 at the bounce and at least 60 e-folds of post-bounce inflation.
