We present coset conformal field theories whose spectrum is not determined by the identification current method. In these ``maverick'' cosets there is a larger symmetry identifying primary fields than under the identification current. We find an A-D-E classification of these mavericks. }

  1. Non-Invertible Anyon Condensation and Level-Rank Dualities

    hep-th 2023-12 unverdicted novelty 8.0 of 10

    New dualities in 3d TQFTs are derived via non-invertible anyon condensation, generalizing level-rank dualities and providing new presentations for parafermion theories, c=1 orbifolds, and SU(2)_N.

  2. Generalizing quantum dimensions: Symmetry-based classification of local pseudo-Hermitian systems and the corresponding domain walls

    hep-th 2025-11 unverdicted novelty 6.0 of 10

    Generalized quantum dimensions from SymTFTs classify massless and massive RG flows in pseudo-Hermitian systems and relate coset constructions to domain walls.

  3. Irrational CFTs from coupled anyon chains with non-invertible symmetries?

    hep-th 2025-07 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

    DMRG evidence from three coupled Fibonacci anyon chains points to a conformal phase with c=2.10±0.03, proposed as a candidate irrational CFT, though small system sizes leave a weakly first-order alternative open.

  4. Homomorphism, substructure, and ideal: Elementary but rigorous aspects of renormalization group or hierarchical structure of topological orders

    hep-th 2025-06 unverdicted novelty 5.0 of 10

    An algebraic RG formalism for topological orders uses ideals in fusion rings to encode noninvertible symmetries and condensation rules between anyons.
